AU Meme: During a battle (of epic proportions) with Nash and Pearl Faith suffers severe brain damage. Angel assumes all hope is lost until he’s met by a woman named DeWitt who offers him a chance to repair Faith’s life. Instantly agreeing Faith is taken to the Dollhouse where Topher Brink retrofits her brain with Active architecture, turning her into a doll named Echo but unlike the other dolls she begins to become self aware and essentially becomes a person who develops feelings for her Handler, Angel.
